An exercise to face your fears

Hi Reader,

We're back in LA and wanted to extend a huge welcome to all our new subscribers from this recent CNBC profile.

What does "back-to-school" look like for busy professionals? It starts with taming your unruly inboxes.

(Those pesky DMs. Slacks. WhatsApp group chats. IG comments.)

If you spend all day checking notifications (and don't get anything done) we've got a free email course for you. In 5 days, you’ll take responsibility for all the inboxes in your life and reach Inbox Zero everywhere.

🎧 This week's podcast episode explores if friendship as hard as we think?

An exercise to face your fears

There once was young warrior who had to battle fear.

She was nervous. Fear was aggressive and mighty.

“How can I defeat you?” she asked.

Fear replied:

“My weapons are that I talk fast.
I get very close to your face.
Then you get completely unnerved and do whatever I say.
If you don’t do what I tell you, I have no power.”
